1. I really love comic books. I learned how to read in two languages by reading comic books.

2. I was born in Utrecht in the Netherlands, but I grew up elsewhere.

3. I am both a very cynical and a very idealistic person. I expect very little of other people, but I do believe it is not as hard to make this world a better place as most people seem to think it is.

4. I am usually the last to say "I love you" if I say it at all. I have no problem telling my friends and family that I love them, but when it comes to romantic love I just freeze up. I have trouble wringing those words from my throat even when I am certain the person in question likes me back, because they have been telling me so for months.

5. I am the only one of my siblings who does not have a Law Degree.

6. I rarely lie. I prefer to use my imagination and memory for more useful purposes. If you ask me a direct question, I will answer it truthfully or tell you that it is none of your business.

7. I honestly do not care if people mistake me for a member of the opposite sex. I know I am supposed to feel horribly insulted when this happens, but it has never really bothered me. This is a good thing, because people mistake me on a regular basis.

8. Me and my cat have nearly the same hair colour.
